RobertC,Based on what you have posted, may I suggest that you follow schodackbassmans suggestion. For starters, I would set the jack plate with the inner plate 1/8 of an in below flush. This will bring your rpms down, but it may provide less slippage and more prop bite. Keep in mind you may need a 26 fury instead. One other note–while I have only run the fury twice on my boat, it does not want too much trim like the tempest does.
