First I would like to say this review is coming from a first time high performance bass boat owner/driver. It has taken me a bit to get adjusted to driving a high performance Basscat (coming out of a Procraft 192), but now I feel more confindent with each trip. I took delivery of my Pantera in Jan. from Brech Marine in Selma, AL. Scott was awesome to deal with, from start to finish. I would recommend him to anyone considering a new/used Basscat. Now to the boat, I now have approximately 45 hours on my Yamaha 200 SHO and I am very impressed with the engine so far. The SHO is very strong and runs out very smooth. Hole shot is great as I am currently running a 26P Fury prop. With the 26 Fury I have seen GPS speeds of 75 MPH on Wheeler Lake and can constantly run in the lower 70s with two individuals and way too much tackle. My only down time with my rig so far was caused by a log on Wilson Lake that decided to jump out in front of me. This set me back a new prop shaft and a few seals. Ride in my opinion is unmatched from any boat I have run in the past. Scott C.
