That would be Mr Chucks boat. I think he was being sneaky and letting you know he has a fine rig for sale. It is listed on the BassCats For Sale page.Jim EbarbMany, LA (Toledo Bend Lake)2004 Cougar/ 225 OptimaxHumminbird Helix 12 Chirp SI on BalzOut Mount at bowLowrance HDS 7 at bowHumminbird Helix 12 Mega SI on Ram Mount at ConsoleLowrance HDS 8 in dash at console
I imagine weight is unchanged by 2″ on deck as hull is unchanged and any other changes might make increase gross weight 30lbs total. I expect solid rough water ride and same great top end.Last edited by clownshoes on August 11th, 2012, 2:39 am, edited 1 time in total.C.O.D. Jr. III
Minimal, though the 2013 models do have finished center boxes on both the Cougar FTD and Puma FTD.
Thanks for the replies guys. One more question. Is the new “Eyra” styling on the back the same as last years Cougar FTD or are they different. Ive looked at last years Cougar FTD and know it will probably be awhile before seeing a 13 Puma FTD in person.
There are minor differences, though similar in appearance.
I thought i saw finished boxes in the photos on one of them, but it was hard to tell. I really like the look of the finished boxes, very clean looking.
Phil, you always produce a gorgeous boat……does it ever get dirty???? Man I just spent 2 hrs last night getting the water spots off the boat from South Dakota. Must have a high alkali content. Then another 2 hrs today applying Collinite Wax/sealant. Looks pretty good again, but yours looks “show room”.
You never cease to amaze! Beautiful! Two power poles or one?
Thanks for the compliments. Yes it has two power pole blades and yes it gets dirty. Just finished spending many hours on it yesterday. Finally got a chance to put a coat of wax on it. I feel for you on the water spots. Those things drive me nuts. The best thing Ive found for water spots is vinegar and water and wiping it immediately after it hits the trailer. Though, I have to admit where I normally fish water spots are not bad at all.

Just seems like it is more prone to spots again unless you apply a wax after the vinegar. Still drooling over your colors!!!
