i decidedcto take the boat out again this morning in an effort to continue troubleshooting what is causing the motor to be contrary to start. I got to the ramp at daylight and prepped the boat to get in a little fall bass fishing. Yeah…right!i hit the key and the motor immediately fired and shut off. I cranked it over twice before it fired. It fired up and idled rough. I turned off the key and restarted it and it ran fine. I drove the boat to the dock and tied it down, shut the motor off, and parked the truck. I returned to the boat, hit the starter and it fired right up and ran for about 15 seconds and stalled! I tried to restart it and it wouldnt fire! I loaded the boat on the trailer with the trolling motor and pulled it out of the water. Once I had the boat out of the water I pulled the cowling and found a 20 amp fuse, ignition coil circuit, to be blown.i promptly took the boat to the dealership for the fourth time in the past 6 weeks trying to get the rough starting problem solved. Any ideas what would have blown this fuse, and why it did not blow before?
