I bought my 17 Eyra in December of 2016, currently have about 180 hours on it. I can’t believe I’ve put that many hours on it but guess that means my son and I are getting to enjoy it. My son had his first high school tournament of the season yesterday on Lake Livingston here in East Texas and we had lots of rain. It poured down on numerous occasions and rained the entire way home. Boat performed flawlessly once again. After the torrential downpours yesterday all of the compartments were dry also. Boat was filthy so I cleaned it up today. I sometimes read the very few complaints and I get the frustration but this boat has been flawless so thought I’d post another compliment to Bass Cat. I don’t have one single complaint, haven’t had any issues whatsoever, love everything about the boat. When I took it in for the one year service last December they replaced one rod locker light switch, that is it, after almost two years of ownership!
Boat gets compliments everywhere we go also. Just last weekend on Conroe we were docked at the McDonalds dock and a lady comes over and tells me how sharp the boat is, they were in a wakeboard boat. She keeps talking and I think her husband got frustrated because he came over and told her they had to go, pretty funny. Anyways, just thought I’d post my experience and appreciation for not only a great built boat but also a great looking boat. The Eyra is hard to beat!
