We have been looking forward to this tournament since BASS announced it. It will be very interesting to see how the Elite pros fish this lake. September is prime topwater time. Will someone go to the bank? Possibly. There are a few guys with some experience on Lake Chatuge….especially some former college anglers. Jordan Lee and Jake Whitaker. Whitaker won the college championship team event there and would be almost considered a local since he lives not too far away in the NC mountains. Joe Lee qualified for the bracket in 2013 and went on to represent the college anglers in the 2014 Classic……and we know what his resume looks like since then.Wow, I look back to 2009 to when BR200 started the college fishing team at Young Harris and what has happened there since then. It will be awesome to see the BASS stage set up again on the campus in the Young Harris “Enchanted Valley”. SB 06 can probably comment on the “Enchanted Valley”…a special place. 200 is looking forward to going back to one of his favorite places and to represent Pure Fishing and his support his pros fishing the event.Look for me there on the weekend and I will probably have the Caracal with me.
