Ive had some wiring issues on my new 2018 Eyra trailer. First issue was the back up solenoid was working intermittently then completely stopped working. My local BCB dealer couldnt look at it until May 14th so I troubleshot it. I found that I was getting power to the backup lights but not the solenoid. I found the blue wire was not connected inside the tongue to the coil cord connector from the truck to the tongue pivot point? I had to lengthen the blue wire and bypass the coil cord and connect to the trailer harness aft of the 5 pin connectors in the tongue. Back up solenoid now working.While working on the above issue I noticed there is a puddle light installed under the step on the tongue that does not light up? I see the puddle light black wire goes in to the trailer tongue just behind the back up solenoid but I cant see where its connected? There is a tiny red wire maybe 22 or 24 gauge running inside the tongue and going into the trailer next to the white ground wire. Does this red wire go to the puddle light? Is the puddle light wiring a 2 wire or 1 wire system? I will just cut the wire and lengthen and reconnect to trailer power at the tongue pivot point. Frustrating having to rewire a brand new trailer but I understand things happen. This my only issue with the boat or trailer and have to say I love this rig!
