This also happened on my 2004 Sabre but not as bad. If livewell is full and I make a few runs I will end up with about an inch of water in the passenger side rear storage box. Frustrating that I can not keep stuff in that box. BCB do you have a good easy fix for this or will I need to have a dealership take care of it? Love the boat so far and this is the only thing that has given me trouble.

We are not sure why water is in there as the livewells should be glassed down before they are setting the side side boxes. IF there is a leak, then sealant around the top edge is the solution. We would get it to a dealership and we would also be sure we tested the area to be sure that is the origin. BCB

Knowing the way the boxes are supposed to install there is no way the water can come over the top done properly. Someone could have cut a corner in assembly and that’s the only way it can come over the top. The livewell is glassed to the rail (deck) before the box is installed. That seals the well prior to setting the box on that glass for seating.

I will check everything this weekend…I have a two day tournament on Toledo Bend so I should have the time.. I will fill the live wells at the start and make sure they are not over filled. The drain should be able to keep up with the two live well pumps on timers….I would hope?

The drain should definitely keep up with the aerators on the timer. The quick fill pump in feature could possibly overwhelm the overflow drain if you forgot about it and left it on. I did that a couple of times and didnt notice until the whole back deck was wet. LOL!Chris CoupelPaulina, La.
