this will be my first year going to the OI. I registered yesterday morning.

when will we get a confirmation email and boat number?

is the OI a 2 day tournament or just 1 day?

is there any kind of itinerary for it?

really excited to be able to go have wanted to go to one of these for years and my wife is really looking forward to it also.

Not to hijack this thread but, This will also be my first year going to the OI. I registered on Monday and haven’t received any confirmation as of yet. I believe its a two day tournament. Haven’t reserved a room or cabin yet, any suggestions. It will be myself and my wife. Not a whole lot of info on here about it yet. maybe after the classic?

Two-day tournament, you will have to go to registration (you are pre-registered/pre-paid but you still have to show up) on Wednesday or Thursday prior to get your boat numbers and schedule of flights, there will be an itinerary/brochure put out before the tournament telling you where to go and other things, a few people are renting houses, most will probably be in motels in town, and you will really enjoy it. It is a good tournament, and the fishing can be as serious or not as you want to make it.

OI is fantastic – ya’ll going to love it from the night before until the day after – the fishing, meetings, drawings, everything is top notch IMO

OI is great, great family fun and atmosphere. My advice, get a place to stay. If you can not find a place out or around the lake, the city of Rogers is close where there is ample hotels, but most will want to stay out on the lake. Vacation Rental By Owners still have a few spots on the or around the lake as of yesterday.
