I have a 2019 pantera classic with 200 pro xs. The boat is leaning severely to port side while on plane at cruising speed. The lean improves as speed is increased. The boat is more heavily loaded on the starboard side. Any other explanations of why this is happened?

I noticed mine does that but quickly levels out with some speed and trim. I’ve only ran mine for one hour though and it was empty except for a passenger.

They should balance out once they are trimmed up.

Normally Prop torque causes this. As BCB stated, once trimmed it should level out. I also noticed on one of my rigs. I had the JP set a bit to deep and it made the lean more pronounced. Raising it helped the lean, though it did not totally remove it.

The type of prop can make this more or less pronounced depending on how much bite it has as it’s caused by the rotational torque like Cajunhunter said, trimming or raising the engine causes more slip and lessens it. Running a prop with different characteristics or changing PVS plugs could help this as well.

Thanks for the replies. Will try adjusting jack plate a little over flush to see if it helps.

How does the boat sit at rest? A level across the back is a good test. I spent a bit of time moving batteries to get my older (2008) classic to sit level at rest. However, with a passenger it leans to the left sitting still, and leans to the left until it starts to get up on plane at around 30. Once it is running, it sits level…
