So, the date for the event are set as March 13-15 ??? You are just trying to confirm the location correct?? Im just trying to get my vacation days lined out at my job.
The dates and location are both confirmed. They are just waiting some details before releasing the location.
I had a great time at Beaver. Just sayin
Mountain Home area has a couple of pretty good lakes to fish.
We will be going to Lewis B. Smith Reservoir, out of the Dam Site and the host is the Walker County Chamber of Commerce, Jasper, Alabama.
Formal release will be forthcoming.

Awesome, I can’t wait
That’s super close this year
Only 16+hrs.. that’s 5 fill ups for the truck and one for the boat.
With a bit of hard work and a blessing or two I might be able to make it happen.
If you know of anyone who has a place available for the Monday or Tuesday until the Sunday could you please send me a pm???
Lake St Clair or Lake Erie would be fun 🙂
how do you register for tournament have not fished one?
They will place the entry form on line within 5-6 weeks of the event dates.
The ABT (Alabama bass trail) just released information saying the Conservation and Natural Resources has informed them that the boat ramps and new docks at Smith Lake Dam will NOT be completed or useable for their March 21st tournament. They are moving their launch site to Smith lake Park in Cullman. Is this going to interfere with the OI?

I hope it doesn’t get moved that far… I’m staying on the lake and running to the launch by boat each morning. Currently about an 8 mile run to the damn but if it moves to Smith lake Park it looks to be nearly 30 miles!

That makes two of us. We have a AirBnb not far from the dam but if it moves to Smith Lake Park that is a LONG run. All the way to the other side of the lake.
Lets hope not!
Was told today that it won’t move from the damn area unless there’s a monsoon.
We are locked in at the dam area. We have one double lane ramp in operation and enough opportunity to launch about 150 boats there.
The Smith Lake Director is formatting a map with alternate public ramp locations we will publish.
We have adjusted flight times to allow weigh in to go smoothly and you may remove your boats from the water prior to weighing, on site ONLY.
Smith Lake here we COME! After the Bassmaster Classic of course!
Let the games begin…
