225 Pro XS question

Hey guys, as I was putting new plugs in my Merc I noticed something odd. Out of the air compressor are 3 pink wires. One is labeled “Sensor…Temp. and Fuel Mgmt.” This line was disconnected from its male/female splicer. I have smart craft gauges. Should this be reconnected or left alone? Motor runs like the wind. Did have a new compressor put on 6 months ago…maybe someone forgot to….uh em!

It sounds like an unconnected line there. You probably do not have fuel displays on the SC gauges now.

Yeah, seems like a no brainer I guess. Last time I ran it was about 4 weeks ago, fuel gauges worked fine…no issues though. Ill connect it and see what happens-maybe a genie will appear and grant me a wish!!! At least Ill know where to look if a warning buzzer goes off. Thanks for the reply.

Fuel flow is the loss, not fuel gauges.
