Hello All, does it involve a ton of work changing out my motor guide 24 for a minnkota 36? I will need another battery, new 4 bank charger. Is the pantera 2 wired for only 24? Thanks for the help! Im the new owner of my first bass cat as of today.
All are wired the same. Voltage is changed in the bilge with jumpers across the batteries. A 4th battery isnt necessarily a must. Some utilize the engine starting battery as the 3rd trolling motor battery. Ton of work to change out? Depends on what you call a ton of work. Youll have to drill new holes for both the bracket and the foot pedal and youll have to mount a 4th battery if you decide to go that route. You call.
