how much work is involved in going from a 24 volt MK TM to a 36volt MK TM? Have a friend who is putting an I pilot on his Cougar and giving me his 36 volt TM for my Pantera 3. My TM is 15 years old and about to give out. thx..

Not a whole lot actually . — Depends on how your current T/M is wired , as to what will be required . — Of course , youll need to either hook up to your starting battery , or add another one to get 36 volts . — Easy to do , and well worth it IMHO . — Hoss

thx. I know how to add my cranking battery to series to make 36, I was just curious about any dangers except after a day of fishing in the wind my motor may not start… also if the same plug at the front would work? The P3 doesnt have room for the 4th battery.

Plenty of room in my Classic for the 4th battery . — You could always get one of those small jump-start boxes and carry it . — Not very expensive , or heavy . — Should fit under the seat , no problem . — I run an M/K 1O1 , and after TWO days of fishing , it still has plenty of go left in it . — Youd have to run on HIGH a whole bunch in a day to pull the batteries down far enough to become a problem with starting , providing the batteries were strong to begin with . — Just my humble opinion . — Hoss
