I just bought a 2001 Cougar w/ 225 EFI and 25p 3 blade prop and my rpms @ wot is around 6150. Motor is rated at 5900 I believe. Would a 26p 3 blade lower my rpm and also will rpms be higher in winter than summer. Boat has awsome hole shot so I could loose some there. We tryed a 26p 4 blade and I wasnt to happy with hole shot although top end increased. Any help would be appeciated……
