How would a 26p Trophy do on a Mercury EFI? I usually run a 25P Trophy and I have a 25p Fury heading my way, but I am curious about the 26p Trophy. Thanks.
If the 25 wasnt over reving…on that motor over 6K then that is probably the right one. The 26 is going to be a little less grunt out of the hole but will spin slightly less RPMs on top. Does that help? Honestly, I think once you run that Fury you will be happy with it enough that you wont be interested in a Trophy except for a back up prop. Judd Lasiter
Thanks Judd. Yes it helps. I was eying an almost new 26p Trophy to keep as my back up to the Fury. My two 25p Trophys would need a little work to make them push the boat like they did when they were new and I like the 4 blades for running narrow tidal creeks. For $250 for a prop used 4 times I thought it might be worth it. Anyone else w/ experience running a 26p on a 225 EFI?
