I am looking at replacing my 26 fury with a 27/28 bravo on my 250 pro xs. I was wondering if any of yall run this prop and what you think. I have run it on my Eyra and it is the best all around prop. I had to have it sent for additional vent holes but other then that it handles better, carries a load better, is easier to drive etc etc etc. If you have a manual jackplate you will need to raise the engine 1/2 to 1 inch for best performance. Im not sure how it will perform on the Cougar but Im sure it will be similiar. Hope this helps. PS…Im playing with a 26 right now and the math says its even better then the 27.

Thank you very much. I know you have to drive these boats but it get old sometimes. Sometimes I just like to sit back and run her and if another prop helps when why not right.

27 bravo probably help ive been running a 28 and max rpms 5850 so 27 probably be the ticket 28 bravo 1/2 loaded at 5800 was 77 mph

Ive got a 27 bravo xs available with extra pvs holes drilled and it is “clean”. Here is the bad- earlier this year I set down in a shallow sandy area and though I didnt feel anything hit or see any damage I did notice some hairline cracks in one blade. I swapped it out to my old standby trophy and think I am going to stick with that. If you are interested in the prop – knowing it will need to be repaired and possibly tuned for your boat let me know.

I am not familiar with the Bravo 1xs. I think it is a 4 blade. But why the Bravo over the Fury 4 blade. What is the difference?
