Well here we go again. 45 days and counting. Ole Sam and I will be trying to improve on last years 54th place. ( I think that is where we finished ) Cannot wait and am looking forward to fishing Lake Norfork, seeing all the people and of course all those pretty cats getting ready for take off. Oh and what a sight it is. For all you people that have never been, get ready for something like you have never seen before. Bass Cat puts on one hell of a good show and not sure I have ever fished a better run tournament. Just wish I could take off for a whole week again this year. Just feel very lucky after everything I have been through this past year just to be able to make it though. For all those people making a long trip to this, I personally want to wish each of you a very safe journey. Can promise, you will not regret it. For everybody else including the ones making a long trip. HOPE ALL OF YOU KNOW, OLE SAM AND I ARE FISHING FOR FIRST PLACE, THE REST OF YOU WILL JUST HAVE TO SETTLE FOR SECOND !!!! Take Care and Wish All Of You The Very Best Joey Watts PS: For anybody looking for good food and entertainment, just look for the big puff of smoke !!!!! That will be the Basketman and his good buddy Pork Chop !!!!!
Jason and I will be making the trip from Arizona again and plan on putting on a “West Coast Whoopin” on you guys and galls. We plan on putting another 20 or so fish a day in the boat, just hope they are a bit bigger this year. 83rd place just left a bad taste in our mouths. Unlike all the great BBQ.DESERTDWELLER.COM “GET YOUR BASS IN THE BOAT”

Bring it on, Cactus Chaser. Carne Asada will be on the grill.
Now Now Guys we all know us Northern yankies can put a whoopin on your butts. Exspecially those of us from up here on the Canadian border.
I fish tournaments locally and really dont care if I weigh a fish in this tournament. This is the one tournament where I go to have a blast and hang out with my buddies now I just need to call Swann to make sure he has enough food for me Good luck guys…it will be a blast, without a doubt taking this approach and seeing all my BCB friends makes this the tournament that I look forward to all year long. This is our 13th OI, and it continues to be as fun and exciting as the 1st. Its really special and we look forward to it every year. The best organized we have ever seen. Grateful to be part of the family. Hope to see you all there, enjoying yourselves. Forever in a Cat: Jim and Annie
Thought for a little while this Thread was just going to fade away into never never land. Glad to see some people having a good time with it. As all of us know that is what this tournament is really all about anyway. Although once the fishing and tournament begins in most cases human nature takes over and the competitor in all of us comes out. Depending on the weather and what happens between now and the end of next month. The fishing should be really good up at Norfork this year. Was not all that bad last year though and am really looking forward to fishing up there this year. Everybody take care and let the games begin !!! JW
New York City!!! You and your smallies up there “aye”. Ill bring the salsa though for the Carne Asada. “Cactus Chaser” Thats pretty funny there Jim. Did I mention it was 82 degrees yesterday and its going to be 83 today. We should have the next month to practice prespawn patterns before your ice melts up there.DESERTDWELLER.COM “GET YOUR BASS IN THE BOAT”
82 and 83 Degres. Thats not even fair. We get to practice too, but we are wearing 3 layers of clothes to do so. And trying to dodge tornados. You better bring some winter duds, when you come here. Your thin blood is going to freeze. Now, you know this is NOT a live bait tournament, dont you. So leave those white bellied spring lizards in Arizona. We will be at 101 boat dock on Sunday evening. Staying 9 days. Hope to meet you all. Hopefully on the stage. LOL Forever in a Cat: Jim and Annie
