Just bought a motor-guide tr-109 fc t-motor for a 1994 pII. The question I have for everyone is, it is already set up on a 36v plug from the front, do I need to run a 3 or 4 battery set-up? It has 3 batteries now 1 cranking and 2 t-motor batteries. Do I need a forth battery to make sure it starts after fishing for a peroid of time or will I be good with 3. All of the batteries are Trojan (2 sc225 series and 1 cranking not sure of the size) but all new. It had the old brute 765 motor-guide that had the 24v-36v toggle switch on the footcontroll, so I guess it will be set-up for a 36v system now. I have noticed that most boats run a 3 battery set-up with a 36v system, but wanted to make sure it would be ok.
