Yes you can Crankenstein, BCB does not seem to recommend that motor very often, not because of dislike it seems to not really add a huge performance difference, 3-4mph. Plus if you research on High Performance websites like Screamandfly.com you will see under Low Emmision Outboards that ALOT of folks have had some pretty big issues with them. If you were running a Bullet 21 or Stroker then with the 1.62:1 Sportmaster and let her blow 100mph, but the capabilities are not really noticeable on a So called “Heavy” hull. If you research the 3mph can be achieved by taking a look at the Other 2 brands, 1 made in Sturtevant, Wisconsin, the other made in Japan and a 4stroke, Ive seen a true and honest 78-81mph speeds posted here from GPS pics, others with the 250 HO EvilRude have posted 81-84+, 84+ was Doug McGee, and was REAL, if its true speed get a Yamaha 250 HPDI Series 2, call Wayne Worthy at Hydrotec, get the 370HP Power Group, and see if that BCB will hit the 100 Mark, heck if Tritons and Stratos can a BCB should be pretty impressive. Just ideas not Stirring the Pot…Brannon
