WOW what a jerk. Call the guy with the cash and see if he is still interested.
The cash guy was onthe fence with my boat and his brothers boat. He already went with his brothers. I decided just to keep the bass cat. I never wanted to get rid of it anyway.
I had a deal like that go south. We had agreed on a price then he went up then he called me and said hell do it and the next day when we agreed to meet I called and he sold it to someone esle WTF
he missed out on a chance to get rid of a piece of crap skeeter and get a real boat.

I had a deal (or so I thought) on a “cN” brand boat 2 weeks ago. Boat was posted on a local board. I called the guy and told him I would be over in a hour to look at it. The boat was super super clean. The guy said he wouldnt show the boat to anybody else till tuesday after the 4th. I told him I would call him before tues. I sent a guy a text the evening of the 4th, telling him I would be over the next AM to take the boat for a ride.Informed him that I had taken off work and that I had money in hand,ready to buy. Start calling him tuesday AM. 8, 930, 10, etc. He sends me back a text at 1230 saying he sold the boat to another guy for 600 more than is asking price…….Ya, I was a hair irritated….
keep your opinion to yourself becasue youhave no clue on how in debt this was. this was just a summery of what this guy put me through. If i can save one person from doing business with this guy it was all worth it. I dont want to see my fellow fisherman and honest people get caught up with a guy like this. Trust me he was a salesman. He got me. Not the kind of guy you want take up for. His skeeter was a piece of crap. Not skeeter.
As a seller you have to realize there are a bunch of tire kickers and dreamers out there. First one to bring acceptable funds leaves with the boat. I have had numerous “buyers” say they will be over in an hour and never show. Maybe this guy got denied by the bank on his loan and he was embarrassed to tell you?
o well. like i said i never really wanted to get rid of it. cant imagine being in anything besides a cat. it looks pretty all reorganized and shined up.
Spewhate,,, Or whatever. Learn to spell and puncuate before you lecture me. You brought this on yourself, period. Take it as karma or whatever, but consider it a lesson learned and move on. You dont come on here and tell us how some awful man took advantage of you, after you left another who wanted your rig sitting on the sidelines for a better deal ? Depth, hardly.

dbasketman. Why are you so concerned with talking trash on this post. Did you do something similar to someone else and this post is hurting your feelings. Why would you agree with another guy screwing someone over. Did I just tell your this was a summary of the actual events and the deal was way more detailed than you know. Did you not comprehend that part. I just posted this to warn people. I’m not going to explain every conversation throughout the week to try and get people on my side. I’m not on trial here. This was simply for informational purposes only. If you wanna get on forums and talk trash go get on BBC and play with those people because there is a ton of guys on there just like you . I have never posted anything on any site. This obviously bothered me enough to take the time to inform some people. I understand that people like you read every forum on the internet and try to stir the pot by putting in your opinion, when there is no possible way you can do that because you don’t have all the information of the transaction. Sorry to hear of the whole deal and consider it a life lesson learned. I hope things work out as you do get to keep the Cat. Ive also seen the topic over on BBC and there is a lot of “back and forth” comments.However, there is no “little man that could flip you off” character because this is a family oriented board that Bass Cat promotes, trying to keep raw language to a minimum. Doug is a man of good character and very supportive of Bass Cat and the family as a whole.
