I am a very proud owner of a 2005 basscat cougar. I just recently upgraded to a 36 volt minn kota 101. Does anyone have any pics of the battery storage area for the cougar with the four (4) battery set up? I need to know where to put my oil resv. Does basscat sell a platform to put the oil resv on and mount it? This would beat having the oil resv. just bouncing around on the pump area. If anyone has pics send them to me or put them on here please. mike

Mike, If you dont get what you need here, give Tommy Yetts a ring at Rockwall Marine 972.771.4442 He can help with any and all BC trolling motor set-up questions. Ive run a 36V MG TE81 with three batteries in my P-III since 01, no problems. I have a Trojan SCS225 for the cranker/troller/accessories, and two Trojan SCS200s for the other trollers. Had to jump my cranker only once in seven years, and that was when my original 3 yr old Continental crankin battery finally bit the dust.

It would require that center, you are right JL. The center would have to be covered with the oil reservoir. BCB

any idea if basscat would sell something like that or just make it myself? maybe with marine grade plywood?

1/8″ Aluminum plate works good, and you dont have to worry about it rotting.
