Has anyone had any success adding a 4th battery to their boat and relocating the oil tank. Trying to install a 36v trolling motor on a 2001 Jaguar. Thanks
I’m doing the same to my 2018 classic. Bought some aluminum angle going to mount the tank over the sump. Hope to do it tomorrow and I’ll send some pics
I bought some aluminum angle iron in hopes to be able to build a bridge for my oil tank. Rabernathy, did you have any success doing this. Also, does anyone have any recommendations for a one bank charger.
Gents there is another possible solution. If you would go to Lithium batteries you can get a 24V lithium battery that along with a regular 12lithium would still get you 36V for your trolling motor with the remaining battery for starting / electronics. No need to move a lot of things around or build something and the lighter weight of the Lithium would be better that the weight of a 4th battery. Just a thought
