BTG, Congrats and even more impressive in these warmer temps.Get with gcHagler. The guy can dial in the Pantera series boat as good as anyone Ive read. Plus hes got your same hull/motor setup. Hes hit 75.7 plus or 76 with his PII/200 ProXS with a tournament load. That is amazingly impressive. The guys got game and might be able to help you go to another fist pumping level. Your setup should go faster because its lighter with the same hull/motor as his. There are many factors to owning BassCat. Its easy to get spoiled because the Pierce family didnt stop with their fishing attributes. Their boats are fun to drive too. Check this out:Shap from LA: PII/Merc 200HP 3.0 EFI and has gone way past 80 mph. That is flat out sick. I think his boat has the older style saddle tanks with beasty 3.0 Merc. That motor is bad to the bone.Bama96: Newer model PII/200SHO, has gone 77mph plus tournament load.GCHagler: Newer model PII/200 ProXS, 75-76 mph, I think with extra person in the boat! The potential is there to go even farther then you think. Just be safe about it. I would think youd gain at least 1.5 to 3 mph if you are crazy enough to run in lo 40° air temps. All great resources here and these guys will do all they can to help you out. That is some great BassCat family support. What you are doing is very impressive. Last edited by Flyswatter on May 24th, 2011, 3:05 pm, edited 2 times in total.
