97 bass cat jag

Can anyone tell me what the rocker switch on the front panel is for. I think it says battery 1 above the switch. But I cant seem to figure out what is the purpose. It has a brute 67 tm and by 2 o clock seems weak in the tm batterys. Last edited by jcash on August 27th, 2015, 12:48 pm, edited 1 time in total.

There was a battery check gauge in the bow that was extremely handy back then. Today the gauge would still be nice though with todays systems have full voltage to the bow, as in 24 or 36 volts. Back then individual voltage of each 12 volt battery was there and we used the cranking battery in the system, which some still do successfully today. This is one to keep on our thoughts as you rekindled a question on a feature that was extremely nice to have.

So the switch is to tell how much voltage is in each battery that its hooked to? My gauge doesnt work and would like for it to work. The bp101 still reads the cranking battery fine.

Yes, and those battery check gauges are still available in other stores. They worked very well.
