Drove 400 miles to the demo to check out a few boats yar-craft 209 & 219 then the Caracal & Erya. First wanted to see the difference between the 209 & 219 well there was no 209 not that big of a deal the 219was very impressive with Joe Okada driving 73mph. I was really looking forward to the Erya almost pulled the trigger a few weeks ago on onebut figured I would go spend some time in one first to make sure its what I wanted, Well apparently a dealer took it with them, what a disappointment. My wife called and asked how the Erya was . . . . . Umm there wasnt one.I did drive the Caracal very impressive just wished I could of compared the 2 boats, That new Yar-craft 2095 is very impressive its a fishing machine. So if anyone has an Erya that I can check out close to Dallas send me an email ]
Tjbubba,Sorry about the Eyra not being at this years meeting. This was a dealers meeting and the dealer base we have was more than familiar with the Eyra and the decision was made to not display one as we already had 15 boats to handle and that became 16 different boats to complete at once, setup, manage, clean, tow and deliver. This was a last minute decision to display between 6 and 8 models at the public showing. Dealers had made plans to go home and even made plans to have a driver appear to tow a second boat home. Post meeting we appear to have a total of 3 boats remaining unsold, that we planned on selling. We wanted some diversity in the water and obviously the new back troller model and Jaguar were going to be 4 of those on water, which ended up being either 9 or 10 boats displayed. We will do some work on that Eyra and see if we can help arrange a demo somewhere. If we had known you were most interested in an Eyra we had a 2015 model very close we could have grabbed.Overall this was an excellent showing and as expect for a thrown together no notice affair. The public showing was a light turnout and next year we might just expand it to the full demonstration line. We know its hard to display the boats in total at a dealership. Its also nice to see the 2016 changes early on so you have expectations set on whats coming out soon. Thank you to all that attended and now we get back in the groove.Tomorrow we will be out of the office after about 11:30 for a company wide social event.
Tj I can arrange a demo ride for you at Lake Ray Hubbard. It will be a 2010 model but it is the same boat. Call me at 972-774-4442.Tommy YettsRockwall Marine

north dallas, frisco. Appreciate all the responses.
I wish i had known tjbubba, I was at the demo days, own an Eyra and wouldve been more than to make arrangements to get you in it while up in Arkansas. The Eyra is an awesome boat I have owned a 2014 and 2015. you should get a ride in one before you pull the trigger on a boat. It was difficult to keep all of the boats there on Tuesday. It was really BCBs intention to have them all there but several of the dealers purchase the demo boats and had to leave on Monday night and Tuesday morning to get back to the dealerships. I am very sorry to hear we let you down.
I responded to the demo days a week prior asking to demo a Erya and was told it shouldnt be a problem, that was the frustrating part.I still had a good time meeting Joe akada the guy can drive a boat, he is a great asset for yar-craft. Ive owned 10 basscats just sold my Cougar FTDand never owned an Erya so cant wait to get it one, not in a big hurry a lot of the lakes are still closed due to flooding plus its cooking out right now.I did get to ride in one a few years back with Rick Pierce got to 81 with the SHO on it, he can make you pucker in a boat Appreciate all the responses.
In Frisco youre gonna need to have a jag with a 350 to keep up!C.O.D. Jr. III
