To all fellow Basscat owners, lost my tow vehicle last week to theft. Stolen for a trip to the Mexican border, a truck full was found in it on its way back north full of Illegals in it. For those that think this is just people looking for a better life, there are victims here suffering. Another cas of what we all pay for this, the insurance will be taking the big tab but then we all pay for that. Please help and let Washington understand there is victims of this problem here too. And it hits us all in our pockets one way or another.
We have expressed our opinion frequently, close the border to illegal immigration, eliminate criminal elements around the border. Then work our way north forcing the element till they either are legal or deported.
been a national problem for a long time. part of the problem is that there are alot of businesses who have thier hand in state or national politics that use these illegals for cheap labor. i agree we need to close our borders by what ever it takes. if that takes using the military to close it…..so be it. i know our constitution states the military cant be used against its own citizens, but last time i checked, illegals were not american citizens.
A few years ago acting on a tip the INS raided a local branch of a national food processing plant and hauled away 54 illegal workers and other than being put out by losing that many workers the plant was right back in business and when they advertise to hire management personnel they always state that bi-lingual is a plus so I am pretty sure that they have replaced their workers with more of the same. A person or business that hires illegals should be fined heavily (at least $100,000 per illegal employee) and on a second offense there should be mandatory jail time (3 to 6 months) for each illegal employee. If indeed a business cannot hire enough legal employees for a reasonable wage responsible aliens who apply for a work visa could be allowed in to work jobs that no legal worker will take. In this present economy I dont think employer would have a real hardship finding legal workers. Just my thoughts on the situation. Larry Brumley
Larry, I agree. We need to be vigilant during this time, and convince our states to start policing the the problem.
Thanks guys, I agree there are easy solutions to the problem. When the politics stop, and actions are started. Time to stop the victimization of the American people. And most of the victimization comes to us from Washington and our own state capitals.

Get out and VOTE, let congress know how you feel and put the slackers (for lack of a word BCB wont edit) out of office.
There is actually some folks that dont need to vote! Social workers are crying already about the law Alabama pushing. They saying its not right to deny them free health services and whatever else. Thats whats wrong. They dont pay taxes, live ten in a house, share cars, and work cheaper for those reasons. I have nothing againest anybody thats trying to better themselves, as long as its done right. Our gov is the problem, its lazy and soft. The problem will only get worse! Who started this post? – you have messed my whole day up getting me so pissed off in the morning. I almost kicked my computer off the desk! In all reality its a subject that needs to be talked about alot, and something done about.
that should make you feel a little better, again !
