On a 2010 PII is the passanger consol removeable? or is it best left alone? I am the single type as I fish alone allot but the one I am looking at is a dual. Oh I have another question for anyone out west, Has anyone delt with Tracy Boat sales? If you have how did you like them?Thanks In advanceSteve “Gunz”

They can be taken off but it does take some work. You will have to have a decorative mat added to cover up the holes from screws holding the console in place.

Tracy Boat Sales is owned by a very nice fellow of Tim G. He is not always there and his sister it there regularly. There will be opinions behind this about Tracy, though it all is up to you. The dealership was Mossdale Boats and Tim bought and moved Mossdale to Tracy. The console is not removable. We are not overly satisfied with the removable option out there. It depends on latches and they could loosen in time and we are not sure about the dependability. We are tried and true in what we do in boats. They are made for long term use and not flash for today. Though we have continued to work on removable console features for several years. They just seem loose in time if they are not bolted. Others will pop in here with more opinions. BCB

I bought my 08 p2 from mossdale boats (now tracy boats). I had them take my 2nd consoul off. It was held on by 5 or 6 bolts and there was a silicone substance that was removed. They put the decrative screw cap covers on those bolts and it looks great. It sounds like the removable option has changed or mabey BCB just recomends aginst it. I think BCB is talking about making the console removable to where you can swap it in and out quickly like Phoenix boats has on theirs. They have stated before I believe that it can be removed for good if needed?
