I have a buddy who just bought a Classic (and who also has problems with the internet), who would like to know, in the article that was in B&WB where they did the shootout with the three different outboards on a Classic where on the pad you set up the Optimax? Thanks for your help.

There is a link at the top of the sight, but I cant recall if the stated motor height though. I am sure someone will be along shortly. I am curious to know as well. -Lee

We honestly dont recall, though it was about 1/4″ too high for the test. Extra weight was required to make the rigs the same and it was not planned on for the shoot. The height was somewhere around a half inch over level from memory. Though we set up dozens of boats a year and that was quite some time ago.
