It has probably been covered but I was unable to search and find the info I need. I have a 1995 Eyra that the dash has been converted with the A10 touch pad and the other gauges that come in the kit. Now the boat has had several different owners so the dash conversion was not done by me it was a previous owner that did the conversion. I thought I had bad bilge pumps because neither would work. Well the curiosity over took me and I have pulled the gas tank and all batteries out of the boat. I am using just the cranking to check everything and with my checking I connected the bilge pumps to the Recirculation switch on the A10 and found that both bilge pumps work. Where my problem lies is that the A10 has different color wires than the old original wiring that was used so how am I to go about figuring out if my bilge bump switch on the A10 is bad. I do know that one of the bilge pumps is connected to the ACC. switch on the A10 which is wrong. Its confusing that there is two bilge pumps one is the manual and the other has the float switch on it that is possibly bad currently. Also the one that is connected the the ACC. switch is the only one that I have ever used so how do I go about getting the pumps wired correctly? Is there a diagram that would help me?I understand its confusing because Im lost as well but I understand this much.
call Richard at Basscat. That guy knows every wire in the boat. But my advise would be to call him from out in the boat with all the wires available for you to see. Both the wires from the A10 unit and the wires coming from the back of the boat. If I remember correctly you have two pink wires from the A10 and two brown wires going to your bilge pumps. You have to connect the correct wires. But check with Richard first
Alright well after having my head in the wiring for a few days I now have got everything wired correctly. My next question is the automatic bilge setting supposed to run and pause for maybe a second then repeat? That is what it is doing and when it is in manual the pump runs continuous as it should
No, it does not cycle in the auto mode. Be sure you have the brown wires connected to the auto float switch. It sounds like the aeration green wires could be accidentally used. Also the auto switch could be faulty.
Thanks BassCat I was able to get everything straight. The previous owner did a hack job of wiring on the dash conversion so I had to go back and correct everything. Its all working as it should now.
