i have a 2002 pantera classic w/a10 touchpad. i noticed a few years ago while fishing in the rain that the bilge lights on the pad would turn on and randomly go between manual and auto setting really quickly and then turn off. it appears that the pad is urethaned to the dash, though my unit is not sealed all the way around on the top, thus allowing water to pass. now, fishing in the rain yesterday, the bilge button will only allow me to turn it on at random. it seems that the button no longer works. it would also do the switching back and forth quickly and it was out of my control to turn it off due to the button. do you think that i need a new pad, or is there possible corrosion on the connection behind the pad that can be cleaned. hate to drop $150 for a new pad when the only button that doesnt work is the bilge, but you gotta have a working bilge. funny that while waiting under the boat house yesterday for lightning to pass, another guy in a cat pulled up and he had the same issue with his bilge button.
