Anybody tried these Acadia Sports Rods. 98% graphite, 24 million modulus graphite, Grade A cork handle, screw down reel seats, rod extends through handle, black titanium oxide guides, etc. Advertised for $50, but buy one get one free. Sounds like a low end Asian rod. If you like it, buy it.

This company is in Irving, TX. http://www.acadiasports.com Out of curiosity, what about that description makes you think this is an Asian rod. Ive never seen one of these rods, and thats why Im asking for opinions. I just wanted to know if anyone had any positive or negative opinions regarding this company or these rods. Thanks all. I have two of the heavy flipping sticks and really like them. Theyre well made, good rapps, good guides and well balanced. For the money you cant go wrong. Iwas spending $300 or more for custom made rods and kept breaking them. Now I just buy the Acadia rods.

While fishing in Broken Bow Lake last weekend I broke two of the rods trying to get my lures loose. One of them broke in two places. I havent contacted Acadia back yet, but they should not have broken.

I looked at the website and they sound like a good rod but I couldnt find anything about what kind of warranty they come with, maybe I missed it. They have a guarantee for 90 days if you dont like it.

btilley. I received a mailed brochure that claims a lifetime warranty for the rods. I couldnt find it on the website either. Other than that, sounds like one positive experience and one negative so far. Any other opinions appreciated. 24 million modulus is pretty light. Tips of close to 30 and bases over 40 on most mid level rods. Better stuff 30+ and 50+ modulus. Plus the resins make a differences as well. BCB

Some of the guys in my club bought these rods and are very unhappy with them. Right now I have some closout castaway blanks that Im willing to build well worth the money just give me a call at (417)988-3430 and we could narrow the type of rod you want for your favorite technique you like to fish
