Going to add a Hyd Jackplate to 03 BayCat. I think BCB recommends the 8″ Detwiller because it puts engine lower in water. Mine needs to go lower because I added a manual plate and the boat would hop with a load in it, so I took it off. Does BCB sell them? Do they make a 10″. I am worried about interference with my hyd steering cyl and the transom as I had that problem with the 6″ manual plate…. Also, does the Detwiller plate have the motor installed in it much like the Bobs Action jack? Any suggestions will be appreciated….
