My dad has a 2004 Sabre with 150 Mercury XR6 that is in excellent condition. He only fishes out of it half dozen times a year, waxes and cleans all the time, and garage kept. He was planning on selling soon because he does not use enough and, of course, he blew power head yesterday. So heres the question…do you guys think it would be better to get it fixed and then try to sell, or sell as is and let the buyer decide where he wants to take it or if wants a new motor. To me, it seems more value to buyer to let him make those decisions, and I really dont know that my dad would come out ahead by getting it fixed. Any thoughts?
