As you leave the state park, turn right and hug that bank (not too close to stay out of the grass of course). It will bend around a point and you will see a rocky bank with a bridge. Go under the bridge and fish that creek. Ive always caught fish in there, so long as it is not overcrowded. Lots of trees down, etc. Dont know the name of the creek, but once you go under the bridge, the right-hand side peters out quickly, but the left side goes a long way if you want to stay in there… Fished there two weekends ago and caught fish in the trees on white buzz baits, perfectly blue sky, and we were catching them nearly every cast even at 2:00 pm… No monsters, most were 2-3 pounds with some smaller… One 4+ pound largemouth was the biggest thing we hooked… 2008 Pantera Classic2014 Mercury Pro XS 200
