in a stellar performance. Then there those true and tried anglers in Mike Lucas (173rd), Cranston (158th), Estes (136th), Sanders (139th), Lasiter (114th), McGehee (111th), and more who have not defended their right to passage well in this season of warriors and Fantasy Fishing. How do we earn your honor at 157th Uncle Big Red? What about last years stunning performance by J. Risley, who is now at 80th, or how did Rod Rinta fall to 147th this season. No braggin being found in this group this season! “Cat” got your tongue boys? Oh well Boys! Its just a game, and a game we have all enjoyed. Now lets hit the water! I have been on a roll this year. I just wish I was catching them as well this year as I seem to be having the insight that everyone else has had. The lakes with blue herring have been pretty predictable, and the Texas lakes filtered out somewhat close to expectations. These TN river impoundments are tricky though. A lot of different things could be working right now and a number of different strengths are going to play out. Wish I was going to Wheeler instead of thinking about everyone else there catching them!!! PS- hats off to Kevin Short and family for the great fundraising event they put on to raise money for such a worthy cause!

Im not having the best BASS Fantasy year, but Jay Law called me to tell me I lead the BCB FLW Fantasy League for Beaver Lake 4,048 pts. Not to shabby for simply picking the anglers I recognize. I decided to pick my guys @ the beginning of the season and stick with them… Probably not the best strategy but live and learn… Serves me right I suppose…. I should have picked a couple more BCB Pros! Im already gearing up for the 09 tournament season and 2009 Fantasy Fishing… We still have a few elite events to go so lets see what happens….. Lucas, how have you been? Hope you are you faring on the Heartland trail? Im wishing I would have came and fished those with you this year. Next year count me in. As for Dwayne, he just sold his boat last week. He is trying to figure out what to do now. Get an 08 Puma that our dealer here has in stock, order a new 08, or wait a short while and order an 09. He cant make up his mind, he is worse than an old lady when it comes to that!

I have what I believe to be some of the best Postspawn/Summertime fishermen on the planet on my Roster. Lets hope they can bring me back from being at the bottom of the barrell all year and I can end up in a respectable position.
