UPDATE: Entry fee lowered to $50!! As mentioned before, Billius and myself wanted to do a “friendly” tournament so heres what we got so far….. January 26, 2008 Lake Jordan (Bonners ramp)) Buddy/2man format $50 per boat payout 5 places Big Fish (LM or spotted bass) $10 extra/optional Biggest “trash/nonbass” fish $10 extra/optional decided to go to Lake Jordan. Hey…no fair Kelly. I cant make it to that one and I know Jordan real well. Better have hair jigs or spoons if its cold. Brown on Brown jig/pig in the back of pockets if you have a warming trend. Hey Mike as my wife says to me (and quite often) cool it. Them Sylacauga / Summerdale boys dont need any help in their back yard. Us poor souls from Logan Martin will be the ones needing advice down on Jordan. (Jerdan if live near Montgomery) Hair jig ???? we bass fishin no stripe allowed. Oh I see now Kelly put in trash fish Wish you could make it. Count me in Kelly, unless something happens. Mackey

Boy Mackey I sure will feel sorry for you! Ive only been on Jordan (Jerden) once in my life!!! I bet youve forgotten more about that lake than I know. I only know where one ramp is!

Mackey, dont tell anyone I told you this but if you run up river and hit the points with a Tomato worm, you probably will get a bite or 2. Hair jigs…of course. Those spots love em on Martin and Jerden in cold weather. Ive seen some guys whack em in Sears and Roebuck slew on spoons as well. I know you guys will have a good time. I sure wish I could be there but I am trying to motivate my troops to sell homes in a tough housing market. My budget for thisyear is 407 homes. My team sold 360 in 2007. Company wide we closed 1012. Gotta get the ball rollin so I can make SEBCOG 2008!!!! You guys make sure to keep me posted on how things go!! MikeJmtfrisco, Texas

Bonners is one of the better ramps with adequate parking also. No fee. Doug

Anybody heard of “Boy Scout Ramp”? Someone told me it was a nice one to use but never heard of it. Glad to know you are going to make it Mackey (we passed each other this morning on hwy 21 between Sylacauga and Sycamore) But since you won SEBCOG maybe we should worry about you winning this one. Good luck Mike with your sales goal.
