This past spring I purchased my third BassCat boat. I bought a 92 P II in 93, a 2000 Cougar in 2001, and my 2004 Cougar this year. Having never bought brand new I was not eligible for the goodies that you get when you do. Since I tend to procrastinate, I took my time registering my boat for the Quest program. One day while browsing the BassCat board I saw a post that said if you buy a used BCB from an authorized dealer that the Quest fee was waived. I sent an email that was promptly replied to asking if it was true and how to go about it. I was given a fax number, the form to fill out, and a number to call to make sure they got it. I faxed the form in and then called the number and spoke to a very nice young lady named Marcy. She told me I was all set and that I was also going to receive a BassCat jacket and hat. I was astounded. Was I really going to get my Quest fee waived and get a jacket and hat for buying a used boat? Well, a few days later I received a small box from BassCat. Inside was a hat and a letter explaining the Quest program. I figured that maybe Marcy thought it was a new boat I bought when she told me about the jacket and hat. I was still appreciative of the free hat they sent me. A couple of days after that another box from BassCat shows up. Inside this one was the hat and jacket. I could not believe it. What other company takes care of their loyal customers this way. This is why I have owned nothing but BassCats for the last fifteen years and while I will never own anything but. Thank you BassCat.
