Hate to bore everyone with another report but just wondered if other folks noticed the same things we did? Seems like lots of small companies selling tackle but not really much new to see in the “stuff” catagory from the major tackle folks? Did seem that everyone I saw leaving had a yellow rod or two in their hands! It was crowded so we just skipped some of the booths to have more time at the Basscat booth. I wanted to see the new boats and so did lots of others! I never mentioned much to my wife about which boat was what (we have a Puma) but she quickly picked out the Jag and as she said “I was impressed”. Guys that says a LOT to me. The new Puma/Cougar have a lot of nice additions compared to our 2005 but the Jag is a step up. Thanks to all the guys we spoke to John, Sherm and several more, all were helpful and there was a lot to see. I suspect we will see the Eyra styling spread to other boats? All in all a fun trip.
