another power pole ?

Hi guys, Im about to buy a power pole or 2, there are lots of choises in the mounting plates, will the set back or offset change or effect my hole shot. Witch mounting plate should I get. I have an 07 puma with 225 pxs with a slidemaster manual jp, with a good hole shot now.What will an 8 pole measure from ground to top of pole on the trailer.Thanks

it can have an effect on the hole shotbracket depends on the type of jack plate you have.8 pole will be 4 tall from where the pole is mounted and again matters which type of jack plate you have
