I know Cooper Cobra in a comparison size is 1675# per tire with a standard rating, and the Carlisle and Goodyears are at 1870# on their trailer tires. I have always used the passenger tires recommended by Basscat and have never had a problem. I just have the tires unmounted and change the valve stems every 5 years, because the only flat I have ever had was because of a dry rotted valve stem that was 6 years old.
