Any BayCats running in Saltwater

Are there any other BayCats out there that run mainly in saltwater?? I have an 03 and I have run mine in saltwater for the past 2 years. Havent had any problems until this year when I had a number of wiring and electronics issues that all lead to wiring in the bilge area. Still love the boat but I thinking re-doing and number of wires to prevent further problems and I am trying to come up with a way to de-clutter the rear bilge compartment and a way to organize the wires better. Has anyone else had these problems?? Also am thinking of changing my manual jackplate to a hydraulic. Which hydraulic plates are the other BayCat running??? Sorry so long…

The Bay Cat runs either the Bobs or the Detwiler. The Bobs is more of a saltwater plate, due to the pump mounting internally, though it keeps the engine too high we feel. Thus we suggest the Detwiler on 20″ engines. The wires can be saved some by coating them with dielectric grease or petroleum jelly. BCB
