Any issues with adding a Trick Step to a BCB trailer?

I really like the idea of adding a trick step to my Puma trailer to supplement my BCB pole and step for added safety. Are there any issues with the additional weight being added to the trailer tubing for it the mounts just below the roller? My concern is the lateral load that I would be adding to equipment designed for a fore and aft load. I am looking for BCB’s input before pulling the trigger.

I added one on my ’15 Cougar FTD. It works well for an old guy who has some issues and needed the extra help. I also run two units on the front this makes it much easier loading.

What about an the new aluminum trailer? I have a 2021 Caracal thinking about adding this.
