The numbers Bass Cat has listed are very accurate. I have about a 1/4” clearance and that’s after I take the plastic piece off the trolling motor, motor trimmed just right. Hydraulic jack plate helps a little if you lower it, it brings the motor in a little. My detached garage is a little longer than a standard I think, not sure of the standard length. It would not fit in my attached garage unless it was put in at a big angle. I have also found if I lower the front of the trailer all the way it helps a little.
