We dont know which boat is whos or where they are, though the engines were on a two week hold for freight to all companies not long ago. That delay has since restarted on shipments, though the rigging obviously got backed up by two weeks during that period of time as Rigging could only prepare the boats to be rigged. This was all a result of the Tsunami which impacted Japanese engine delivery, thus moving many sales to the USA engine companies. The burden on some Japanese engine dealers has been substantial and we learned of this from two dealers in conversations from today alone. There are literally no small engines for many engine builders. Back order on a 115, of a popular USA brand, is now looking at End of July. We think engines are now at Bass Cat for most of the production, though rigging is the main concern. There are a few units that are not in inventory as the 250 Pro XS and a few more have been on back order at Mercury almost all year. They are more of a receive and rig ASAP status and have been all season.
