How is it getting its wireless signal. Would think itd work good with gps/mapping but would need G3 or G4 wireless to get google earth, weather, ect…. Many places I fish – cant even get a good mobile signal, much less high speed.
If you dont get signal on the water, it sure is not going to be useful. Also, the moisture issue etc. You can take chances with a case but we all know what severe weather can do on the water. Use an iPhone like most of us and stick it in a bag/pocket when not in use. You can also make 911 calls when need be
