Anyone tried a Fury prop with a Verado powered boat? Ive got an orig Cougard FTD with a 250 Verado, wondering if the Fury would be a fun addition? Currently running either a 26 Bravo1, or a 27 Trophy with the weed ring and all of the holes filed.

Im wondering the same thing , I run a 26 Tempest , excellent hole shot and good top end ,but with all the boat traffic on Lake Ozark am having problems with blowout while running down the lake in rough water . Would love to try a Fury and see what it will do . If Im running a 26 Tempest what size Fury do I need to try with my 275 Verado ??

The Verado would work well with a Fury, and you may be able to spin equivalent propeller size. Whereas most have to go down one inch. According to the inside folks, they have run it on the 200 Verado though not yet on 6 cylinder models.

I think I may buy one in the offseason then, it will be months till the snow melts and I can try it out though…. Currently with the Bravo1 I am hitting the 6200-6300 rpm area, its a little lower then the Trophy gets though. I didnt get it as a speed prop, more for when I am out fishing on Erie so I can keep the boat on plane at lower speeds for going over the waves.

6200-6300 seems to be right on the money from what i have read. I am only hitting 5600-5800 thinking of dropping a size or raising the motor a lil not quite sure which way to go yet. Really need to find an experienced set up guy to run my boat i think as i dont have a lot experience in that areaYour Signature …
