If I have a 8″ Atlas plate, can I just drill the two extra holes for the BCB mounting pattern, or do I need to buy the BCB mid section?

The plates are longer that BCB uses and thus support the transom more. T&H may sell the angle offsets with the BCB pattern for the bolt up.
