I have been to Auto Zone, OReillys and Advance Auto looking for the 1997-2000 Kia Sephia Organic Brake Pads. I assume there has been a design change because what every store has offered me is different than the UFP pads as shown below.There is no longer a inside radius as you see in the pic, its squared off now. That extra “meat” in this pad interferes with the caliper slide and cant be assembled. My first stop was at OReillys and I thought the guy ordered me the wrong pads. Then when the other two stores were the same I said Hmmmm….Right now my 2016 Caracal is out of commission. Allen in parts is coming up with something for me.

Glad you posted this. I have a 2015 Caracal and havent even thought about Pad replacement as the boat has less than 40 hours.

Yes I’m aware there are plenty of places to buy them online. However when you don’t have time to order and wait the ability to get them local is nice.

Local Kia dealership? They may have some or know if one of the other dealers have them in stock.But its not like Chevy or Ford dealership on every corner in every town…

You usually receive higher quality parts at branded locations and original automotive dealerships. The parts in these type assemblies are usually not parallel quality to those of Delco, Mopar, Motorcraft and other factory brands. Unfortunately we do not control price and quality of vendor subassemblies we purchase and the UFP/Dexter parts are the highest quality available in the axle and end unit category.
