Aurora cover ?

I just put my strapless Aurora cover on for the first time and was wondering where do you guys hook the ratchet straps. Ive never had a strapless cover and I figure this has been asked before but I couldnt find it.

In the same place the rear tiedown straps connect

I looked at that but the ratchet was going to rub on boat. I put them on the motor bracket and it seems to work better without rubbing. Thanks for the info.

I was hooking them together under the bracket but later started just hooking to jackplate and it seems to work just as well.

That is the location on Mercury engines.
